We started with a wine bar, hoping to introduce a wider variety of wines. After discovering natural wines, we envisioned a wine bottle shop that offers not just wine, but a fun and engaging space. We began in a small basement, but the shop quickly gained popularity with the growing natural wine trend. The current Wendy's Bottle Shop is located in an old house with a garden, which we've always been drawn to. When we saw it, we immediately signed the lease. We wanted to create a space in Seoul that feels like Europe, and living just steps away, it feels like we're in a house with a garden.
Jigu Bakery started with the value of "coexistence." We wanted everyone to enjoy delicious desserts comfortably without feeling excluded. All our products are made without animal-based ingredients (milk, eggs, butter, etc.) and are mostly gluten-free. Of course, the most important value to us is "taste." After all, if it's not tasty, no one will enjoy it.
Having worked in the clothing industry for over 10 years, I’ve witnessed the process of many products being made and sold. One day, I started wondering where all these products end up and how they are used or discarded. I wanted to create a space for people who need items that they bought but no longer use, or things that are no longer available.
We both have years of experience as a bartender and a barista. When we got married, we decided to create a space where we could work together. We're not just partners in work, but also best friends, and we enjoy being together, so we chose to work side by side.

Born To Be Gardener
After about 10 years of working in an office, I realized that plants brought me comfort and joy. I wanted to share the "comfort plants give" with those who may be mentally exhausted or have never experienced the joy of a hobby, which is why I decided to open this space.
